Washington County High School KY 2020 Graduation Behind the Scenes

Since it is graduation season, I thought it would be fun to reflect on last years graduation. I shot the high school graduation at Washington County. At this point we had been in the pandemic for two months and things were still very locked down. They contacted me about shooting this eight day graduation. Each student came with a few family members and were given 15 minutes to “graduate”. It is certainly the most unique graduation I ever filmed. I put the video together as if it were a seamless event. The school actually rented an outdoor movie screen and showed the graduation video to the seniors. I went to see the debut and it was so cool. They ended the night with fireworks. I am so happy I was able to help make this graduation special for the students!
