Bella White has been a fantastic discovery this year. How many songs do you know with the name Rhododendron?

The Lewis Family- I’ve Found a Hiding Place

I found a mix tape cassette that one of mom’s colleagues had made. After hearing this song, I remembered listening to the Lewis Family as a kid. This is a good song for jumping on the trampoline.

Hannah Read- Panellus Dancer

I have continued to enjoy the Fungi Sessions from Hannah Read.

Donna Ulisse - I’m Fallin’

This song is a direct result of seeing Donna at Industrial Strength Bluegrass this year. I actually really like this whole album.

Po Ramblin’ Boys- Where Grass Won’t Grow

Another Industrial Strength Bluegrass find.

Thomas Csorba - Getting To The Good Part

Love this whole album. I’m not sure how I found him. Maybe through Robert Ellis?

Blue Highway- Someday

I heard this on the King of Kings radio. I thought it was beautiful.

King’s Heralds - Holy Manna

I am still on a King’s Heralds kick. I got CDs this year. :)

King’s Heralds - Wheel in a Wheel

A great way to remember what goes on in Ezekiel.

Bella White - Just Like Leaving

I believe they played this during the set break at The Grove in Glasgow.

Emmylou Harris - Got A Thing About You

Aunt E and I found an Emmylou Duets album at half price books. This was on it.

Wailin’ Jennys - Light of A Clear Blue Morning

So pretty. Allison Moorer also has a good version of this song.

Sturgill Simpson - Scooter Blues

I love to ride my scooter, so I love this song.

Andrew Bird and Madison Cunningham - Don’t Let Me Down

I think Allison Moorer had recommended Andrew, then YouTube recommended this to me.

Alex Amen -  California Blues

YouTube recommended this. They know me well. This was released in the fall of 2024.
